Congratutations !!! Asian Trekking's International Cho-Oyu Exp.Members reached the top of Mt.Cho-Oyu(8201m)

This season's first summit on Mt. Cho-Oyu (8201m) by the Bolivian father and son.

Bernardo Guarachi and Elio Guarachi from Bolivia successfully reached the summit of Mt. Cho-Oyu on 5th of May. They are the first father and son from Bolivia to summit Mt.Cho-Oyu. Also they are the first team to summit Mt. Cho-Oyu in this Spring climbing season.

 

Also Swiss Speed Climber Ueli Steck and Don Bowie of USA reached the Summit of Mt.Cho-Oyu on 5 May. This is Ueli's 2nd 8000er Summit in this Spring Climbing Season. Earlier Ueli Steck solo summited Mt.Shishapangma(8027m) via south face on 17 April 2011. This is his 2nd 8000er climbed in this Spring climbing season.

 

Volodymr Lanko from Ukraine also summited Mt. Cho-Oyu on 6th of May.
