Mt.Everest Expedition Autumn 2011

Due to rapid melting of Ice and glacier during warm and dry Summer and Autumn season, the garbages exposed between Everest Base Camp(5300m) and Camp 3(7500m).

These garbages were found in between Everest Base Camp(5300m) and Camp 3(7500m) during Autumn climbing season. The garbages has been collected, stored and protected at the same place by Asian Trekking's Mt. Everest Expedition Autumn 2011 team; which the team of Asian Trekking's Eco Everest Expedition Spring 2012 will try to bring down from the mountain.

Tuesday, 11 October:

FINAL UPDATE ON EVEREST EXPEDITION 2011:

The Everest Expedition team has decided to end the expedition and are currently on their way to Kathmandu. The expedition had to be abandoned due to bad weather conditions and large amount of snow on the mountain. As per the news we received from the guide, they are expected to reach Kathmandu on the 14th Oct.

Friday, 7 October:

All members and Sherpas spent the night at Camp 3 (7400m) for acclimatization.

Tuesday, 4 October:

We just contacted Naga Dorje to his NTC mobile and it was very cleared connection. Early this morning all members and Sherpas left Base Camp for Camp 2. Just now (8am) they are in between Camp 1 and Camp 2 and expect to reach Camp 2 by 11:30am.

Monday, 3 October:

As per the message received from the expedition sirdar Naga Dorjee Sherpa, Asian Trekking's UAE Mt. Everest Expedition members and climbing sherpas will be moving to camp 2 (6500m) tomorrow (4-Oct). The route to camp 3  has been partially opened and if the conditions on the mountain remains stable, they will try to open the route to camp 3 (7350m) the following day (5 Oct ).

Sunday, 2 October:

Naga Dorje, Pasang Rita, Samden and Nima Dorchi ferried loads to Camp 2 this morning returned to Base Camp.

Friday, 16 September:

On their way to Camp 2, the team was forced to return back from the Nuptse Wall due to heavy snow conditions.They have safely returned to the comfort of base camp and will rest and recuperate until conditions are better in the mountain.

Thursday 15 September:

The Asian Trekking's UAE Mt.Everest Expedition team members and Sherpas has spent a night at camp 1.

Tuesday 13 September:

Vit Morava, Jan Morava and Saeed Khameis Ebraheim Ali M.Almemari did an acclimatization day trip to Camp 1 (6100m) and returned to Base Camp today. Sherpa team of Naga Dorje, Pasang Rita, Samden and Mingma Dorchi acompanied with members to Camp 1. The Sherpa team plan to establish Camp II (6500m) on 15 September. The health conditions of members and staffs are good with good spirit.

Sunday, 11 September:

Camp I (6100m) is already established by Sherpa team and today Pasang Rita Sherpa and Samden ferried loads to C 1 and returned to Base Camp. At the meam time Mr.Saeed Khameis Ebraheim Ali M. Almemari of UAE and climbing sherpa Mingma Dorchi Sherpa arrived Base Camp today.

Saturday, 10 September:

The Icefall route is fixed upto Camp I and members Vit Morava, Jan Morava and Sherpas made an acclimatization day trip just below Camp I today.

Wednesday, 7 September:

As per the conversation with the Ice Fall Doctor Ang Nima Sherpa, the ice Fall Route has already been fixed below Camp 1 as of 07- Sep. Weather permitting and if conditions on the mountain are favorable, the ice fall route till Camp 1 will be completed within the next 2 days.

Asian Trekking's UAE team on the mountain has plans to perform the puja on the 9th September. After the puja ceremony is over, the team plans to proceed to Camp 1 and Camp 2.

Tuesday, 6 September:

Meanwhile,the advance team Vit Morava, Jan Morava and cook Bhola Bahadur Magar have reached Everest Base Camp today, 6 September, after a good acclimatization for spending three night in Himalayan Eco Resort Lodge at Lobuche.

Saturday, 3 September:

The Advance Team of Asian Trekking's " UAE Mt.Everest Expedition - Autumn 2011" arrived Lobuche (4950m) today, 3 Sept. The health conditions of members and staffs are good with good spirit. They plan to spend one extra day at Lobuche for acclimatization. They will proceed to Everest Base Camp on 5 September. At the mean time the Expedition Sherpa Team established the BASE CAMP today, 3 September.

Thursday, 1 September:

The Advance Team of Asian Trekking's "UAE Mt.Everest Expedition - Autumn 2011" arrived Pheriche (4243m) today, 1 Sep. The health conditions of members and staffs are good with good spirit. They plan to spend one extra day at Pheriche for acclimatization. They will proceed to Lobuche (4950m) on 3 September.

Earlier: The Advance Team of Asian Trekking's "UAE Mt.Everest Expedition Autumn 2011" arrived Khumjung (3780m) today, the 29 August. The health conditions of members and staffs are good. They will spend one extra day at and around Khumjung for acclimatization and heads towards Everest Base Camp from Khumjung on 31 August. They plan to establish Base Camp on 5 September. The Icefall doctors are already at EBC and fixing the Icefall Route.

Earlier: Asian Trekking's "UAE Mt.Everest Expedition Autumn 2011" with climbing members Mr. Vit Morava from Czech Republic and Jan Morava from Canada along with 

Sirdar Nanga Dorje Sherpa and Base Camp Cook Bhala Bahadur Magar flew to Lukla on the 25th August 2011. Another climbing member Mr. Saeed Khameis Ebraheim Ali M. Almemari from the U.A.E will be joing them at base camp after his arrival in Kathmandu.

Members and sherpas have spent 1 night at camp 1 ( 29 Sep ) and spent 2 nights ( 30 Sep & 01 Oct ) at camp 2 (6500m). They are all coming back to base camp today ( 2 Oct ).There is a lot of snow in the mountain due to a lot of rain this monsoon season.

Monday, 19 September:

All members and Sherpas are resting at Base Camp for today and tomorrow and planning to move to Camp 2 on 21 September.
