Congratulations !!! Mt. Manaslu Expedition Autumn 2011

Wednesday, 5 October:

Congratulations !!! Asian Trekking's International Manaslu Exp. Autumn 2011 member  Will Cross ( USA ) and Gyaluk Sherpa reached the top of Mt.Manaslu (8163m) this morning at 9:15 and they are on the way back to Camp 3.

Tuesday, 4 October:-

Congratulations !!! Asian Trekking's International Manaslu Exp. Autumn 2011 member  Arjun Vajpai of India, Mingma Sherpa and Nima Tshering Sherpa reached the top of Mt.Manaslu (8163m) this morning and they came down to Base Camp. Provably Arjun Vajpai is the youngest Mt.Manaslu summiteer.

Sunday, 2 October: 

Arjun , Mingma Sherpa and Ngima Sherpa reached Camp 1 yesterday. Early this morning at 6 am, they have left for Camp 2 and will stay at camp 2.

Will Cross and Gyaluk Sherpa have left base camp for Camp 1 and will stay at camp 1.

Sunday, 25 September:

Asian Trekking team members are at base camp. It has been snowing a lot for the past 2 days. If weather improves, the team will move to camp 1 tomorrow.

Friday, 23 September : 

Today Asian Trekking's Mt.Manaslu Expedition team the established the Camp 1. All expedition team members and Sherpas are in good condition and high spirit.

Mt.Manaslu (8163m) is one of the popular among 8000m peaks for climbing. At this moment, there are 14 expedition teams with 132 foreigm climbers, 97 HAS and 56 kitchen staffs at Base Camp and above. Approximately 1995 porters ferried loads to Base Camp. Still more teams are on pipeline.

Tuesday, 20 September :

Asian Trekking Expedition team to Mansalu has reached Samagaon yesterday 19 Sept. They have had a good acclimatizing trek since starting from Kathmandu on the 12-09. The team will be resting at Samagaon today while the rest of the crew have moved ahead to set up the base camp. The team members will be going to base camp tomorrow 21 September.

Monday, 12 September: 

Asian Trekking''s Mt. Manaslu Expedition members Mr. Will Cross from USA and Arjun Vajpai from India left this morning from Kathmandu to Arughat by surface (drive)..

They are accompanied by High Altitude Climbing Sherpas: Mingma Sherpa, Nima Tshering Sherpa and Gyaluk Sherpa.The group is expected to reach base camp on the 21st September.

Base camp cook : Padam Bahadur Magar.
