Peking Express PE1 RAI2 Film Shooting Completed

It is a television documentary about a journey in 10 stages through 3 countries: India, Nepal and China. In this program 10 Italian Celebrities started their trip in Haridwar (India) on a hitchhike journey along the trail of the Peking Express from India, Nepal and to Peking (Beijing).
A team of 70 members - film crew, contestants and technicians from Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, completed the documentary film Peking Express PE1 RAI2 for an Italian Television RAI2.
There were around 81 Nepali helpers including Local Production Assistants, Drivers and support staffs from Asian Trekking to assist the team. For logistics 31 vehicles were used including 1 big truck and 1 helicopter for the 2 episodes in Nepal.

Under the leadership of Dr. Hsieh Chih-Mou of National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU), a team of 37 members including professors and students from NTSU will start Around Annapurna Trek on 27th July 2012 which they will complete on 20th August 2012. The CEO Leadership Program was first started in 2007 and is being very successfuly continued till now.

2012 Spring Mt. Everest Summiteers Name list (climbing from Nepal side)

Chinese Taipei Mountaineering Association (CTMA) Group of 22 pax led by Mr. Vincent Lin, General Secretary of CTMA successfully completed their trek to Mt.Everest Base Camp (5350m) and Kalapathar Trek (5550m) from 22nd April to 3rd May 2012 and returned back to their home country. Mr. Pasang Tshering Sherpa was the head trekking guide.

Canadian Rotarian Mt.Everest Base Camp Trek-Spring 2012:
Canadian Rotarian Club Group of 36 members·led by Rotarian Mr.Karl Herzog successfully accomplished their trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp (5350m) and Kalapathar Trek (5550m) from April 16th to May 2nd, 2012. Mr.Lhakpa Nuru Sherpa was the head trekking guide.
