My success on Everest in 2009 was greatly supported by the Asian Trekking that not only provided great and flawless logistics but also superb climbing experience, wisdom, knowledge of the mountains, great atmosphere and a lot of fun.
The Annapurna Sanctuary is the name given to a tremendous glacial basin which lies to the north of Pokhara. The classic trek up the Modi Khola Valley and into the heart of this vast natural amphitheatre culminates at Mt. Annapurna Base Camp, below the awesome south face of Mt. Annapurna. At the Mt. Annapurna Base camp you are surrounded by a spectacular ring of mountains including Mt. Annapurna I (8091 m), Mt. Annapurna III (7555 m), Mt. Gangapurna (7454 m) and Mt. Machhapuchhare or Fishtail Mountain (6997 m)
