Overview

The Annapurna Sanctuary is the name given to a tremendous glacial basin which lies to the north of Pokhara. The classic trek up the Modi Khola Valley and into the heart of this vast natural amphitheatre culminates at Mt. Annapurna Base Camp, below the awesome south face of Mt. Annapurna. At the Mt. Annapurna Base camp you are surrounded by a spectacular ring of mountains including Mt. Annapurna I (8091 m), Mt. Annapurna III (7555 m), Mt. Gangapurna (7454 m) and Mt. Machhapuchhare or Fishtail Mountain (6997 m)

1          Drive: KTM-Pokhara by tourist bus - Overnight at Hotel

2          Drive: Pokhara - Phedi and trek to Dhampus (1650m).

3          Trek to Landrung (1565m).

4          Trek to Chomrong (2170m).

5          Trek to Himalaya Hotel (2920m)

6          Trek to Machapuchare base camp (3700m).

7          Explore around to Annapurna Sanctuary (4095m) - trek to Dobhan (2600m)

8          Trek to Chomrong.

9          Trek to Tadapani (2630m)

10         Trek to Ghorepani ((2860m)

11         Visit Poon Hill (3193m) and trek to Ulleri (1960m)

12         Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara - Overnight at Hotel

13         Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus


Package Details

Cost Includes

  1. Full service standard lodge trek on room sharing basis with fixed meals during the trek.
  1. Wages of guide and porter while on trek.
  1. Local taxes and insurance for guide and porter.
  1. Annapurna Conservation Area Fee and TIMS Fee.
  1. Transportation: Pokhara-Phedi & Nayapul-Pokhara by private vehicle
  1. Transportation: KTM-Pokhara-KTM by tourist bus for members, guide and porter.
  1. 2-night accommodation on room double room/single room at best available tourist class hotel in Pokhara.


Cost Does not Include

  1. Expenses of personal nature, tips, alcoholic beverages, cold drinks and mineral water or boiled water.
  1. Meal and accommodation in Kathmandu
  1. Travel insurance, personal medical expenses and rescue evacuation
  1. Hot shower during the trek.
  1. Any costs arise due to flight cancellation and political disturbance.
  1. Tourist visa for Nepal and international flights to/from Kathmandu
