Trip Itinerary

1 Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel

2-3 Day for Tibet Visa procedure and shopping

4 Fly from Kathmandu airport over the majestic Himalayan Range to Gonggar Airport. Drive to Lhasa (3650m-11,972ft) and transfer to your hotel. Have rest to acclimatize to the altitude

5 Lhasa sightseeing: Tour of Drepung, Sera Monastery and Barkhor Market.

6 Lhasa sightseeing : Tour of Potala Palace, Jokhang & Norbulingka summer palace

7 Drive to Shigatse, (3900m-12,792ft).Sightseeing of Tashilhunpo Monastery.

8 Drive to Saga (4450m-14,596ft) Overnight in tented camp.

9 Drive to Pariyang (4610m-15,120ft) Overnight in tented camp

10 Drive to Darchen (4600m-15,088ft) Overnight in lodge

11 Drive to Thirthapuri. Overnight in tented camp

12 Drive to Toiling. Overnight in tented camp

13 Toiling. Visit Guge Kingdom. Overnight in tented camp

14 Drive to Manasarovar (4560m-14,956ft). Camp near Chiu Gompa

15 Visit Gossul Gompa and back to camp

16 Drive to Shershong via Darchen and trek to Diraphuk gompa (4900m-16,072ft) Overnight in tented camp.

17 Trek to Zuthulphuk Gompa crossing the Drolma la pass (5600m-18,368ft). Overnight in tented camp

18 Trek to Darchen and drive to Pariyang(4610m-15,120ft). Overnight in tented camp

19 Drive to Saga (4450m-14,596ft) Overnight in tented camp

20 Drive to Nyalam ( 3750m-12,300ft). Overnight in Guest House

21 Drive to Zangmu (2350m-7708ft) .After immigration formalities, cross border to Nepal and drive to Kathmandu.

22 Kathmandu. Free day

23 Departure from Kathmandu

Package Details

Cost Includes

• Airport-hotel-airport transfers

• Twin sharing accommodation in Kathmandu for 5 nights –breakfast basis at a good tourist class hotel

• Standard hotel accommodation on a twin sharing basis with breakfast in Tibet

• Guided sightseeing tours with Tibetan English speaking guide as per program, entrance fees at the monasteries/ monuments.

• Fullboard tented camp during the trekking with tents, kitchen materials, mattresses, tables and chairs, toilet tents and hyper pressure bag ( gamow bag incase of emergencies)

• Insurance, wages for Nepalese Sherpa cook and camp staffs.

• Transportation as per program.

Cost Does not Include

• Airfare Kathmandu-Lhasa .

• Tibet visa fee and urgent fees if applicable

• Lunch, dinner and refreshments during stay at the hotels.

• Photography charges in monasteries
